Matthew found his career inspiration in a college investment class—though he soon realized that financial planning is about much more than someone’s portfolio. As a Lead Advisor at Stordahl Capital Management, he crafts and implements comprehensive financial plans to help clients live their best life today while planning for a great tomorrow.

Matthew enjoys his role in helping ease clients’ concerns, but also bringing forth opportunities previously not considered so they can confidently enjoy retirement and use their wealth in ways important to them. He builds ongoing relationships with clients through regular meetings and constant communication. In addition to crafting comprehensive financial plans and evaluating financial strategies for clients, he also monitors and manages their portfolios.

A Minnesota native, Matthew has played hockey for as long as he can remember. Now a Denver resident, he has taken up skiing, which is where he can be found on most winter weekends. If he could eat only one food for the rest of his life, it would be pizza—any shape and any style is fine, though his favorite is a Neapolitan cooked in a coal-fired oven.
